Eating Behaviour to lose weight and fats
June 20, 2008
People on weight loss diets often find themselves on a rebound — a perfectly good diet goes for a toss. You don’t actually need a diet plan — what you need is an eating behaviour insight.
What is eating behaviour?
• Eating behaviour is all about the way we relate to food. Another popular work life related behaviour is “I have no time to eat’ — what with the pressure of work”. An eating behaviour develops and arises from subconscious thoughts that precede or accompany the eating occasion. We try to define our eating behaviour relating it to the way we are.
How do I recognise eating behaviours?
• Eating behaviours are thoughts and feelings that bring about an emotional payoff. They are deeply embedded in our minds and the act of eating certain foods, or events trigger these in a subconscious way. For example people with weight issues display periods of great control along with periods of indulgence as a way of dieting. Others set themselves up for an evening time ‘good food’ after a hard day’s work. Yet another way is to make the weekends count. It’s the typical fasting–feasting way of eating. Another demonstration of an eating behaviour is when food is used to bond. How can I say ‘no’. Quite often emotions of anger, fear, anxiety, shame and sadness, trigger a compelling desire to eat. Most eating behaviours create a self perpetuating cycle leading to weight rebound. We shouldn’t blame ourselves for failed diets – it’s a feedback to us that food requires a more sensitive approach.
How do these behaviours lead to weight gain?
• If we accept emotions have an influential role in what and how we eat – we should accept that this is where weight gain begins. During a day at office we drink 3-4 cups of tea or coffee — subconscious reasoning is either stress busting, courtesy, or bonding with workmates —while at home it’s just the breakfast cup. So we eat when hungry and when we are not. A full milk cup of coffee or tea packs about 120 calories so you can calculate your calorie intake from 3-4 cups – and 5 days a week. If we look into daily routines we would find many such ‘nonhungry episodes’.
How can Kaya life help me in my eating behaviours?
• Kaya life makes the complete shift from mere diet plans to focusing on eating behaviour. In a sense it moves away from the commonsensical way of doing weight loss – which is why it is a new approach. Every client gets a life coach and dietician who take an inventory of foods and eating behaviours. Through several sessions your coach motivates you to see the mindbody split that pleases the mind but distresses the body. Simple changes in the way we think can change behaviour. For example shifting the mind from ‘why am I fat’ to ‘how did I get so fat’ moves our thinking to new possibilities instead of resigned acceptance. Kaya life invites you to look at new behaviours in a warm and sensitive partnership - new eating behaviours that settle comfortably with the mind – this is the keystone for sustainable weight loss.
Low carb diet is bad for your Hair
June 18, 2008
Many of today’s low-carb diets may lead to steady weight loss, but it may come at the price of the health of your hair. Carbs help in the growth of body tissues, and they are also the body’s primary source of B vitamins, which your body needs. That’s why it’s not recommended to stay on carb-free diets for long periods of time; even South Beach recommends that their ‘First Phase’ be limited to three weeks.
Instead, opt for smart carbs, meaning you cut out sugars and white flour, and get healthy carbs from vegetables, fruits, whole grains, brown rice and potatoes. Too much fat is bad for you, but you need a little fat in your diet to stay healthy and to keep your hair healthy, too. To avoid health risks associated with a fat-heavy diet, get it from lean meat that is grilled or braised rather than fried. Needless to say, eating that hamburger fried in lard is not a healthy option. For one thing, your body will need the right amounts of vitamins and minerals to be able to create strong cells. People who go on crash diets will often report hair loss. Strands may be brittle and easily damaged, and will look dull despite all efforts to condition and style. Thus, for healthy hair, you need to invest in good hair care products and a good lifestyle. Eat right, and find ways to relax after a long day at work to minimize the effects of stress. Of course, a good shampoo never hurt.
Novel Weight Loss Strategy
June 18, 2008
Here’s a novel weight-loss strategy. Before you take one single bite, think about your last meal — every detail.
It may sound silly, but there’s science behind the idea. People in a study who thought about their last meal before snacking munched less. So before your next nibble, picture your lunch plate.
Mind over matter
It made no difference of how tempting the treat was. When people were asked to remember what they had for lunch that day prior to eating a popcorn snack, they ate less of the munchy stuff — regardless of whether it was seasoned or served plain. All of which suggests that appetite may be linked to food memory cues.
Daily strength for the dieter
Give yourself some superhuman willpower with these tricks for resisting dietary temptations: Scrap the three squares . . . and eat smaller, more frequent meals. Gorge on whole-grain bread with olive oil before a meal. Eating some healthy fat first quells the urge to splurge. Take a nap. If you are sleep deprived it can damage a diet. Are you eating smart? Find out for yourself!
Fat Loss Diet
June 14, 2008
You are overweight due to most of these reasons:
1. Maybe you’re eating the wrong food.
2. The types of calories you intake can be wrong.
3. Your meals would be of wrong pattern.
I am going to change the way you think about dieting. Please read the below carefully:
Food can make you either thin or fat. Your intake of food will make you look thin or fat and not your weight loss pills. Lack of exercise will never make you fat. The main reason to become fat is because you do not eat the right food at right intervals everyday.
Weight loss pills are not enough. The pattern that you choose to eat is very important. You will end up storing calories like fat tissue as the calories won’t be burnt. This happens because your body is like an engine and it needs certain food at certain intervals each day. A normal person needs to eat 3 times a day to lose weight. Read on to know how to do that….
Like I said before, you are fat because you eat wrong food at wrong time. You can get SLIM by waiting the right food at right time and intervals each day. You will never need to starve yourself to lose weight. Starving will not help you lose weight but will make you feel sick and tired.
Starving means using a low calorie diet. Having a low calorie diet menas your metabolism will detect the major drop in your calories and it will adjust by burning few calories each day.
For example:
If you eat 1,500 calories per day then your metabolism will adjust itself so that your body begins burning 1,500 calories per day.
If you try to starve yourself by suddenly eating 500 calories per day then your metabolism will again ADJUST ITSELF so that your body begins to burn only 500
calories per day. That’s why you have failed in your past dieting attempts, that’s why you always seem to fail when you try and starve yourself.
I guess by now you know the reason why your friend eats more and does not gain weight while you have been eating less and not being able to lose any weight.
Nowadays, every person is fat conscious. Many people mostly buy "low fat" or "non fat" food. Every person checks the amount of fat in the food they buy. But
how many are actually losing their weight by doing so? The actual fat still remains that people using "LOW FAT" food are becmoing more fatter day by day.
Similary, on the other hand people going for low carb diets feel miserable each day. This because most of the energy being lost everyday.
The fact is that Low carb diets will make you feel miserable day by day.
The Answer:
I have invented a new type of diet which will show you a new type of diet which is very different from whatever you have seen till date. The process is so different that you will see changes in your body in just 11 days from today.
Believe it or not it’s really possible to change your body in NEXT 11 DAYS. I have patients who have done it and have thanked me so many times. Here is the truth. You will be greedy to see more of this EATING SYSTEM which is UNIQUE. It is so unique that you will definetely start it immediately.
The Truth
Food is NOT your Enemy!
Everytime you eat something, your brain realeases two types of Hormones into your bloodstream. These two hormones together control your Fat Burning and Fat
Storage. These two Hormones are controlled by nothing else but the Food that you eat.
How does MY DIET help?
My Diet will help you lose weight due to two things:
1. My Diet will produce a greater quantity of FAT BURNING HORMONES and MINIMIZE the FAT STORING HORMONES. This means you will be eating MORE THAN 3 TIMES A DAY for 11 DAYS.
YES!!! 3 TIMES!!! 3 TIMES eating is must to alter your HORMONES using my diet. You would feel it hard to believe but the fact still remains that FOOD IS NOT YOUR ENEMY.
2. The another system that My Diet does is CALORIE SHIFTING. Your body will be given different types of CALORIES each day which will confuse your metabolism resulting FASTER WEIGHT LOSS.
Seems Interesting? I have created an ONLINE DIET GENERATOR which will calculate everythiong for you automatically and will give you the right daily menu.
This new diet is called the IDIOT PROOF DIET.
So what does THE IDIOT PROOF DIET do?
The Idiot Proof Diet constantly alternates your menu between every possible type of calorie, constantly shifting from one type of calorie to the next,
ensuring that the scale keeps dropping.
I call this diet the "Idiot Proof Diet" because everything is computed for you, and there is no need for calorie counting or label reading.

Control on diet does not help
June 12, 2008
Consuming a fad diet to achieve that ultimate beach-body? Well, you may be doing yourself more harm than good, warns a leading clinical nutritionist. Fad diets may be the quickest way to weight loss but is not a healthy one, according Dr. Jo Ann Carson, professor of clinical nutrition at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
“Fad diets are a temporary fix to a problem that requires a lifelong solution. Healthy eating and exercise habits all year long will keep you beach-body ready for any season,” Dr. Carson said. Any diet that results in more than one to two pounds of weight loss per week, eliminates an entire food group or forces you to eat from one or two food groups and forces a person to take a pill or buy a product, is avoidable.
